All over London, there are thousands of underused and unloved corners, overgrown gardens and abandoned garages. At the same time, other parts of the city are witnessing developments on a scale which transforms them beyond recognition, but which often fail to create the type of home to which many families aspire.
Small spaces can be challenging and uneconomic to develop. But by creating a model which can be applied across many similar sites, we plan to realise their potential to meet London’s demand for quality houses in liveable communities.
